"HAIR CARE JOURNEY"

Thank you everyone for looking at my natural hair journey post. So I've went from Permed hair to Press and including many life changing events which has resulted in my very own personal Hair Journey.

I'm glad you decided to read my story of my wild hair journey. I say wild because I originally started as a child with thick beautiful yet tangled hair that I grew to love. Yes, I said absolutely LOVED. In my opinion there is no such thing as bad hair only different texture hair that requires different hair care regimens. Growing up I went from young natural braid and go to teenage press and go to my mom was tired of dealing with my hair to perm and go. Now do you see why I say hair journey.

Well now I am in my late 30's and I am saddened to say all hell is breaking loose. If you are a lady and been through any type of hair damage or thinning or medication side effects I feel your pain. Although, I understand this isn't acceptable to me because It's a necessity for me to regrow and restore my healthy hair accordingly. Regardless of my hair stress moment, this is completely a challenge that I willingly accept and plan to conquer.

Therefore, I've started a personal hair journey by researching hair products to stimulate my hair grow process. Stay posted as I plan to post occasional new updates. Thanks again for taking time to tune in to Tania's hair journey. Also, feel free to sign up or comment on my blog.

Razac Perfect For Perms Hair Oil Review

Razac Perfect for Perms product label states it's for: Hair Oil for Weaves, Twists, Braids, Dreads, Perms and Naturals. Razac hair contains moisturizing oils that soften the hair at the same time adding an extreme awesome shine to the hair. If you're looking for that beauty shop shine consider trying Razac Perfect for Perms.

"The Truth About Perm Formula's Exposed".

It's unfortunate that companies are changing perm formulas with no warning. They'll pop an ad on box saying "we've added oil to this perm and call it a moisturizing perm". But they don't disclose that a perm with to much oil can cause an oil overload on the scalp and cause the perm to be watery. Which, means as you apply this perm to scalp it’s more susceptible to damaging your scalp and hair? Also, some companies just reduce percentage of a few ingredients; they don't care if it's needed because bottom line is the dollar to them. I was using a perm called gentle treatment and awesome perm at first, and then I noticed the perm started to look a little watery, I saw now with more aloe moisturizing or something similar on box. So, I'm thinking to soothe the scalp and moisture gently great.  I go home and apply it the perm was working, but then it started taking to fast. It was as if the perm began to straighten within half the box recommended time. This may sound good for those that have course hair but not when it's eating through like a triple super extra strength. After this happened my scalp became irritated and drastically itchy and dry. I could write about issues for days on this box of disaster hidden behind the name gentle treatment.
Although, I will end with this tip, the perms you have to mix yourself really aren't good for the hair. The formula's can change with no warning. If you must perm your own hair unprofessionally, purchase the already mixed perms. To be specific the ones that don't require adding liquid activator. Basically, if the box says liquid activator included leave it on the shelf. Also, this perm is not recommended because if the individual using it doesn't mix it properly this may cause damage or even hair loss. Anyway, you can find the already mixed perms in your local beauty supply stores, or by scheduling an appointment at your local cosmetologist.

If you’re using this perm and still thinking Gentle Treatment is the best thing for me then click on the link below and marinate to the readings revealed.

How to treat a perm burn?

So, you've got a fresh perm and your edges are laid down but your scalp is screaming for relief. Sorry but sounds  like you may be a victim of perm burn. So, now what? Don't worry it isn't the end of the world.
Although, it will feel like it if you use hair products with alcohol on your hair and scalp. A perm burn on top of hair products containing alcohol is definitely a no no. Spraying these products directly on irritated scalp can inflict serious pain and scalp injury.

How to treat the perm burn.
I personally treat my perm burns by placing hydro-cortisone 1% cream on the irritated area 1-3 times a day. Hydro-cortisone provides a little relief for inflammatory skin conditions. Although, I personally use this 2-3 days and then I allow my scalp to heal itself naturally.

What to do if a Scalp forms a scab?
If a scab forms in hair do not pick or scrap it or spray oil, gel or hair mousse in the sore. This will not only cause healing of the scalp to be delayed but create a welcome mat for bacteria and hair fungus on the scalp. Perm burns may take a few weeks, a month or longer for the scalp to heal depending on the severity of perm burn. So, be patient and don't panic and keep harsh chemicals such as hair dye and perm chemicals off the scalp. Also, try not to pull forcefully at the wound while combing or styling your hair.
